BISTROT MARGOT

This is a comfortable bistro in the heart of Old Town. The second floor dining room is a little quieter than the ground floor. The menu is very standard bistro fare but done very well. Staters include a brie tart, mussels and pates. The Bistrot salad had lots of tasty lardons. I had an excellent rack of lamb with a mustard crust and ratatouille. The rainbow trout was also good. I enjoyed the pork tenderloin with a pasta gratin. The desserts were also very standard but the chocolate terrine was melted in my mouth and was exceptionally smooth. The wine list was small but adequate. Service was very good.
