The restaurant is a collaboration between Chef Jean Joho of Everest and the Lettuce Entertain You group. It is a big, bright French brasserie, very reminiscent of Paris. There is a nice French wine list with selections from several regions at a range of prices. The small baguette of bread and the plate of pickled carrots is enough to keep you going while you study the menu. We shared the tart with a creamy onion filling. I hd a weekly speccial of Wiener schnitzel on my last visit. Previously for an entree, I enjoyed the shrimp bag which is crispy phyllo wrapped around shrimp, mushrooms, spinach and peas in a lobster sauce. This is a change from the original shrimp bag that had shrimp, mushrooms and wild rice. I also enjoyed the mussels steamed in garlic and reisling with frites. Previously, we shared the delicious salmon tartare and goat cheese tart. Another fine entree was the roasted sea bass. The steak frites with the bearnaise sauce is done perfectly, the potatoes thinly cut & crispy. For dessert, I tried the mocha coupe and the profiteroles as well as a dessert special, the chocolate marquise. Service was quite good.
