A Lettuce Entertain You restaurant that has been around for over 20 years, this Lincoln Park tapas place is still a real gem. There is a large outdoor dining area with awnings for inclement weather and a menu of dozens of appetizer-sized dishes meant for sharing. The wine list is small but serviceable and they do have sangria. We shared 8 dishes among 4 people for lunch and had plenty of food. We started with the garlicky potato salad and the cold eggplant salad with goat cheese. Then we had the serrano ham and olives, the escargot on garlic toast with souffle on top and a delicious spicy shrimp al ajillo. Next, we had the baked goat cheese with marina sauce, shrimp and seafood fritters with a cumin mayonnaise and finally a plate of Spanish cheeses. All washed down with a nice red Spanish wine. A wonderful lunch and wonderful, unhurried service.
