One of several restaurant s owned by Carlucci including Strega Nona in Wrigleyville, this suburban location serves more than just pasta and red sauce. We started with fresh grilled anchovies and a delicious lightly breaded fried calimari with two sauces; marinara sauce and a garlic aioli. The arugula with roasted beets and hazelnuts had a very nice lemony dressing. I enjoyed the veal Marsala but it was a little underseasoned. Another entree I enjoyed was the grilled lamb chops. There were two thick double chops served with a mint pesto and a layered eggplant ratatouille. I also tasted the squid ink ravioli filled with shrimp and seafoood served with a creamy shellfish sauce. The wine list is small for a restaurant of this size and the prices range from medium to high. I don't think that there was a single bottle under $30. Service was good but not special.
