Located in the heart of Lincoln Square this German bar and restaurant has been around for decades. There is a large selection of imported beers on tap & in bottles. The appetizers run from pickled herring to steak tartare to smoked salmon on toast. Entrees lean heavily toward meat. I had the Wiener schnitzel which was light and tender. Sauerbraten, smoked pork loin, roast duckling and boiled pork shank are reliable choices. There are also fresh fish selections. The service was very good and very friendly
