This wonderful little bistro restaurant in River North has been around for several years. The menu is small but the wine list is larger. There are also several daily specials in addition to the expected and excellently prepared dishes like steak frites and mussels meuniere. I started with the appetizer portion of grilled sweetbreads which came with an assortment of sauted vegetables and a onion cream sauce. The frites with the steak frites were thin and crispy and the portion was not too overwhelming. The chocolate raspberry tart was good and the carrot cake with amagnac ice cream was delicious. The service was friendly without feeling rushed.
