AMERICAN $-$$ 12/27/05, 7/15/00Located off of Milwaukee Avenue on Old Half Day Road, this large pretty brewpub & restaurant is on the edge of a suburban shopping center. There is a large outdoor dining area with a fair amount of shade. They produce about a half a dozen different beers & ales on the premises. I enjoyed the blackened prime rib sandwich along with Flatlander's own Amber Ale. The buffalo burger was juicy & delicious as well. The menu also includes ostrich, turkey burgers and chicken. The pork tenderloin cutlets with a cream gravy and garlic mashed potatoes were excellent. The service was very good.
