The Francesca's restaurant group now has more than a dozen Italian restaurants scattered around Chicago and the suburbs. Located in the Bryn Mawr historic district , the restaurant is deceptively spacious. The menu is Northern Italian with lots of salads, pizzas, a large choice of pastas and a small changing selection of entrees. I started with an appetizer of risotto with peas and prosciutto. I was enough for two people. I had a delicious rigatoni bolognese for my entree. The linguini with scallops was also very tasty with perfectly cooked scallops. We shared an excellent tiramisu and the molten chocolate cake for dessert. The wine list is small but moderately expensive. Service was good.
