Out near O'Hare Airport just south of Rosemont is this excellent old-fashioned red sauce Italian restaurant. The wine list is small, but adequate, with reasonable prices. As a starter, we shared the grilled calamari served with a nice marinara sauce. We also liked the baked clams. As an entree, I enjoyed the veal piccante with a side of penne. I also tried the linguini with red clam sauce. All the entrees come with soup or the house salad. The desserts were standard and included an adequate tiramisu, a good Italian ice, and a tasty cannoli. Service is excellent.
