In the heart of Greektown, this old standby has remained consistantly reliable. In this large noisy restaurant, the atmosphere is fun and the service welcoming. The menu has lots of lamb, fresh fish & all the Greek standards - moussaka, dolmades, spanikopita, etc. The leg of lamb with potatoes & green beans was fork tender. The wine list is small but who drinks anything but Roditys at a Greek restaurant? The taramasalata (fish roe salad) & the flaming saganaki appetizers were good but not out of the ordinary. On a previous visit, four of us shared the fried zucchini with a garlic sauce and the feta cheese with red pepper appetizers. Both were very good. The entree of shrimp with feta & marinara sauce was delicous. During the latest visit, we tried the cold appetizer platter with melitzanosalata and skordalia. I had the lamb shishkabob wich was very good. The service was very good even though we were there with a large group.
