This restaurant that opened in 2006 is a welcome addition to East Rogers Park. The small trattoria and pizzeria has a wood-fired brick oven that produces wonderfully crispy crusts. We shared the delicious mussels in a slightly smoky broth and a special pear salad. The pizzas had an authentic Italian thin crust style. I had the funghi and prosciutto and also tasted the white quatro formaggi pizza. The wine list is small but with some nice selections. There was a serious service problem on our second visit. One of our group ordered a funghi & formaggio pizza. When it arrived, it was funghi & prosciutto. Back it went and this time quattro formaggio arrived. finally the correct pizza was served. Although the pizza was comped, we would have preferred having all the entrees at the same time.
