AMERICAN $$-$$$ 6/21/03This is the newest Hackney's location in the Chicago area. Located at the south end of Printers Row in an old warehouse building, this restaurant lives up to the Hackney's tradition. The onion loaf and the wonderful Hackney burger are available but the menu has more to offer than the original. There are half a dozen vegetarian dishes, more sandwich choices and a few more entrees. A nice sized bar and 10 or 12 tables outside on Dearborn provide additional seating. When I go, I always have the hamburger which is one of the best around. The beer selection is large and the service is very good.
