Harry Caray's - Rosemont

A copy of the Harry Caray's restaurant downtown, this is another good Italian steakhouse. It is located in the Holiday Inn near O'Hare Airport. The walls are filled with sports memorabilia and lots of Harry Caray photos. The "Holy Cow" from "Cows on Parade" was out in front of the restaurant. The polenta sticks with wild mushrooms is an excellent appetizer and enough for several people to share. I had the veal piccata. It was tender and had a nice lemony zing. The entree came with the daily pasta side dish. The linguini with red clam sauce was also good. The double pork chop with mashed potatoes and asparagus was excellent. For a lunch visit, I had an excellent veal parmigna sandwich and the salmon burger was delicious. The wine list is large and slightly expensive. The service was good.
