This French bistro located in a hotel in Oak Park serves up wonderful food complimented with a nice wine list and good service. On our latest visit, we shared the escargots, the smoked salmon and the chicken liver pate. For an entree, I had the entrecote au poivre. I also tasted the braised short ribs which were tender and delicious and the herb-crusted whitefish which was fresh and moist. Previously, I had a salad of endive, walnuts, apples and blue cheese. For an entree, I had the special of veal medallions with pan fried sweetbreads with a wild mushroom cream sauce. It was delicious. I tasted the pan fried whitefish which I really enjoyed. For dessert, I had the assortment of sorbets; mango, green apple & raspberry.
