This restaurant bills itself as La Fonda Latino Grill and the menu is a mix of Colombian, Cuban and Mexican dishes. The wine list is small and has some nice red wines from South America. We shared the arepa which are corn griddle cakes, filled with portabello mushrooms and cheese. We also had delicious tostones or fried plantain with an avocado sauce. The spinach empanadas were also good. For an entree, I had the milanesa de cerdo. It is a thinly pounded and breaded pork tenderloin served with sweet plantains. The menu includes several fish and seafood entrees in addition to beef, pork and chicken dishes. I also tried the plato mixto which was the 1/2 steak, grilled chicken breast and 5 shrimp served with sweet plantain. It was a lot of food. Service is very good.
