Facing the new ice skating rink in Millenium Park, this beautiful restaurant which has been open since 2003  provides another destination on Michigan Avenue. It is owned by the same people who created the Chicago Firehouse Restaurant in the South Loop. The menu ranges from entree sized salads and great sandwiches for lunch. The portabello sandwich was very nice with lots of vegetables. The cheddar burger had white Herkimer cheddar and smokey bacon. I also tried the ribeye steak sandwich which was incredibly tender. For our latest dinner visit, we shared the fried calamari and the baked goat cheese appetizers. For an entree, I had the double pork chop with a mound of crispy fried onions. The location is great with a view of the Zamboni machine cleaning the ice rink while you eat during the winter months and the outdoor dining area in the summer. Very good service every time we've been there.
