Located in the heart of Algonquin, this restaurant has been around since the 1930's. It has a charming old roadhouse tavern feel and a comfortable dining room. We went for lunch and were very pleased. I had a rib-eye steak sandwich that came on garlic French bread with lightly grilled onions and peppers. I also tasted the portabello panini with sauted spinach. The large menu includes pizzas, steaks and chicken. There is a limited selection of wines and the service is friendly.
