This stylish restaurant in a former bathhouse on North Avenue in Wicker Park serves delicious American and fusion cuisine with an emphasis on seafood dishes. A large airy bar has a deco look and the large dining room is comfortable. An extensive if pricey wine list has a large selection of French and Australian wines. Starters include fresh oysters with a vinaigrette, tuna tartare, and crab cakes. I liked the beet salad and I enjoyed the hot and sour soup with crispy pork belly. There was a nice peppery aftertaste. For an entree, I loved the black cod served with scallion pancakes. I also enjoyed the Alaskan halibut on marscapone truffle risotto. I also liked the barrimundi with artichokes and tomato compote. We finished by sharing a cheese plate. Another nice seddert is the coffe semifreddo. Service is very good at all levels.
