Located in the Wit Hotel on the ground floor at State and Lake in the Loop, this new hotel restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The dinner menu is not large with 7 starters, 8 small plates and 8 entrees. I opted for the beefsteak tomato and feta salad from the side dishes and 2 small plates. The salmon tartare was fresh and had just a slight bite. The second small plate was the BBQ shrimp on cheddar bacon grits. the salad and small plates made for a filling meal. I also tried the rainbow trout with lentils and thought that it was excellent. The sevice is friendly and very good. The restaurant is in short walking distance to the theaters.
