This is a great family-run neighborhood restaurant. Prices are reasonable and the service is very friendly. The wine list includes a very nice selection of medium priced wines and a sufficient selection by the glass, as well as a short list of special wines. For starters, I recommend the spicy mussels and the fried calamari, crispy and tender with a good marinara sauce on the side. The beet salad with Gorgonzola is quite good. Entrees I enjoyed were the veal piccata, the risotto with scampi and lemon and the penne Bolognese. The veal parmesan served over spaghetti was tender and there was lots of cheese. The chicken saltimbocca, the pumpkin ravioli in a tomato goat cheese sauce, the spaghetti al pescatore and the spinach linguini with tomato and garlic were all delicious. For dessert, we like the chocolate cake with a chocolate mousse filling and a chocolate ganache, the tiramisu and the tartufo ice cream.
